Available from the 29th of November is NetCourier version 8.2. As part of our commitment to ensure that our software always at the forefront of our industry, this new release contains a host of new features and functionality.

Additional integrations

Our list of carrier integrations has now increased to over twenty-five, to ensure both you and your customers can always choose the right delivery network at the right time. Version 8.2 introduces two additional integrations for you to choose from: 

  • Yodel – One of the largest delivery companies for B2B and B2C orders, serving many of the UK’s leading retailers
  • wnDirect – eCommerce delivery experts, who help growing businesses to achieve international eCommerce success

Throughout 2019 we will be working on adding even more integrations to our portfolio.

Alternative sameday pricing

We’re already working on optimising our sameday software to help fulfil your sameday delivery needs. Sameday pricing was originally based on the quickest distance between your drop off and collection points.

Your system can now be set to cover the shortest distance instead, to remove pricing fluctuations that may be caused by traffic or other issues.

Customisable options

We’ve added a static message to your customer portal login screens. Changeable in the back office, you can use it to inform your customers about important information.

For instance, if potential customers are finding your portal page but don’t have login details, you can display guidance regarding how to set up an account. Alternatively, you can set it up to display current weather issues that might affect deliveries.

Multi-drop

Originally available in the back office, the multi-drop feature has now been rolled out to the customer portal. Customers can now book multiple drops through the portal, saving both of you time (particularly during this busy period).
